Iron Man

I went with some bro’s to check out Iron Man this weekend

Holy crap, it was awesome. The action and special effects alone were worth the $6.50 matinee price.

Robert Downey Jr. really out did himself in this role. He made the hero cocky and lovable all at the same time. His comedic timing was superb. He had me laughing the entire movie.

Terrence Howard was also wonderful in his role. I normally expect great things from Terrence because he usually does great movie and only great movies. He truly digs deep into his characters and pours passion into every part he plays.

Jeff Bridges. What an amazing job. I don’t know who decided that he would make a great villain, but kudos to them. He was perfect for the part.

Special honors goes to Gwyneth Paltrow. She was exactly what the movie needed. She plays her character very smart. She doesn’t over do it with giggles and smiles.

All in all, the movie left me wanting a part two. I will be buying this movie as soon as it hits video.

I’m hearing lots of good stuff about Iron Man. I doubt I’ll be shelling out the $$ to see it in theaters, but I’ll definitely put on the list of movies to check out once it’s available in DVD.

Thought Jeff Bridges was great but I am still having trouble removing him from Jeff Lebowski. Sometimes when he talked I was imagining him being “The Dude.”

Iron Man was practically flawless as a super hero flick; it drops pretty obvious hints that would indicate a sequel as well… i’m thinking the next one should be equally great
