I’m definitely with you on GoodFellas and Stranger than Fiction. Others for me are Breakfast at Tiffany’s, Identity, Raising Helen, Gilda, and Serendipity.

    “Back To The Future”
Original “Star Wars” (not the new ones… ugh)
    First 3 “Indiana Jones”

Great choices. Mine are Rounders, Bourne Ultimatum, Pulp Fiction, The Quiet Man, Casino Royale, Die Hard and The Sting. Just to name a few.

Bourne Identity is such a great movie, all three in the series, actually. I can watch them just about any time and be happy. Also, Casino Royale and The Man Who Knew Too Much. Great go to movies.

Well, I am more than a little disappointed to see that Fight Club did not make the list! I also love Life as a House. If you haven’t seen it I really think you would like it…hmm what else oh! The Village, Signs, and Sixth Sense. And my last addition to your list which I think you will like is American History X.

Ok, I love that Sweet Home Alabama is on your list!! That is one of my favorites. I’m such a girl when it comes to movies… I’m a sucker for a good romantic comedy. My other favorite are: Annie, Anne of Green Gables, Cider House Rules, (there also tends to be an orphan theme.. not sure what that’s about).

ahh Saved…reminds me so much of my high school.

hmm…i can quote almost in their entirety Beauty and the Beast, That Thing You Do!, and The Mummy, and then movies that are just fun to watch are The Parent Trap (dennis quaid version), Sneakers, Footloose. oh, and Titanic. yes, i said Titanic. i can’t help but watch it everytime it’s on tv.

Rocky 1 and 2, Indiana Jones series,.The Cowboys w/ John Wayne anything with John Wayne, Dazed and Confused, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings. The movie with Matthew Modine when he was a high school wrestler. Stipes, Fast Times at Ridgemont

  15. Alan Binkley said,

Legend, The Dark Crystal, Monster Squad, Goonies, The Lost Boys, The Breakfast Club, Back to the Future, Labyrinth, E.T, Dead Poets Society, Gremlins, Second Hand Lions…

Notice how many movies on this list have been made in the last 20 years… not many. They don’t make good wholesome movies anymore. Just trash. Garbage in, garbage out?

Oh… and G.I. Joe the movie. Yeah baby.

Love the list…Shawshank is my top with all the Bourne Movies following closely!
